Baking soda is essential in many households for food preparation and cleaning. But, there is a good chance that you are not taking full advantage of everything baking soda has to offer.
Baking Soda Remedies

1. Detoxification bath:
Baking soda and apple cider make a beautiful spa-like bath to eliminate pains, itching, and detoxification. Also as an additional advantage, clean the bathtub and the drain.
2. Insect bites:
Apply a paste of baking soda and water for insect bites. It will help to relieve itching. You can also rub the dry powder on your skin. It also serves as pruritic rashes and poison ivy.
3. For ulcer pain:
Baking soda immediately neutralizes stomach acid. The dose is usually 1-2 teaspoons in a full glass of water.
4. For chipping:
Add a tablespoon of baking soda in a small glass of water, then submerge the affected area twice a day.
Many splinters will come out after a couple of days with this treatment.
Make a paste of three parts of baking soda with 1 part of water. It can use as an exfoliant for face and the body. It is natural, cheap and soft enough to use every day.
6. A remedy for sunburns:
Add ½ cup of baking soda to warm bath water, and then soak in the tub for natural relief. When leaving, let your skin dry with air, instead of peeling off excess baking soda, to relieve it more quickly.
You can also add the mixture of baking soda and water to a cold compress and apply it to the direct burn.
7. Teeth Whitening:
Mix 1/2 teaspoon baking soda with crushed ripe strawberry. Apply the mixture to the teeth and let it act for five minutes. Next, brush your teeth and rinse them. This method should not use more than once a week since excessive use could damage the enamel of the teeth.
Mix a pinch of baking soda in water. This paste makes an effective and natural deodorant.
9. Paste for Gum and plaque:
To have an incredibly useful toothpaste for gums, use a mixture of six parts of baking soda with one part of the sea salt. Place them in the blender and mix for 30 seconds, then place in a container for use.
10. Soak the feet:
Add three tbsp of baking soda to a hot tub to soak the feet.
